The Douro region of northern Portugal is the home of Porto. It takes its name from the Douro river, which flows east to west from the Spanish border to Porto, where it meets the Atlantic Ocean.
The grapes were carefully selected and completely de-stemmed upon arrival at the winery. Fermentation took place in stainless steel vats at a controlled temperature of 25ºC. After Malolactic fermentation, it aged in deposits for 6 months.
His wine offers a ruby color and aromas of red fruit and some spices. In the mouth, it is pleasantly round and persistent. It has the typical notes of the indigenous grape varieties of Portugal: black fruits, slightly spicy nose and long finish.
It is a perfect accompaniment to grilled meats, game and spicy dishes. Pairs harmoniously with Mediterranean cuisine.
Consume at a temperature of 14ºC.
